Very expensive, my dog had seizures, I decided to have the tests done to find out the reason, after 4800 I was told she had epilepsy and they were going to work with me to take care of her. After a month I needed tests for medication levels, 700.00. I was told that medication should help her between 6 to a year for the seizures. One month later she started the seizures again, they told me she needed to be hospitalized and it was going to cost around 700.00. I could not believe it! 700.00 a month? I told them I could not pay such amount of money, that was enough for them to stop being caring, even Dr. Neary did not want to talk to me anymore. Just told me go to your regular vet. After 5500.00, they didnt' want anything to do with me, money talks with this group. So if you have the money you will get good treatment if you don't then you will disappear.
I had to take my dog here recently and was very impressed. Everyone was pleasant, helpful and happy to help me understand everything. I hope I never have to go back! But I know if I do, my dog will be getting the best care possible.
I can't say enough about Bush Veterinary and Dr. Akin. My Scottish Terrier was having Major Seizures and we were directed here by the Emergency Vet Hospital in our town. The staff was so caring and competent. We needed to find out why the seizures were taking place. Dr. Akin gave our little man a thorough check over, asked many questions, explained the procedures they would preform and took very good care of him. After the tests were done Dr. Akin explained the test findings with us in great detail, gave us several options and was very kind and compassionate. I would recommend Bush Veterinary and Dr. Akin to anyone who is having Neurological problems with their pet
We had to take our lab, Remi to see Dr. Neary at Bush Veterinary due to a spinal injury and we can't say enough positive things about Dr. Neary and all of his hard work he put into helping Remington recover and finally get back to normal without any spinal issues. I would recommend anyone that is need of a neurological specialists to check out Bush Veterinary in Woodstock. Dr. Neary is extremely knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is cared for properly.
