I love the staff and their professional and family atmosphere at Allatoona Animal Hospital. I've been taking my animals their since we moved to Woodstock in 1997. Miss Dr Smith who's now in Waleska but all of the docs are great and I'm grateful for their compassion and understanding!
We love coming to Allatoona Animal for our fur baby! The staff takes wonderful care and consideration of animals and owners alike. It's nice to always see friendly faces and have great customer service.
Very welcoming and have an exam room just for cats. They were kind and gentle with our pet. Wonderful!
I had been going to this vet for a few years and then had a issue with my cat spitting up numerous times a day. Took my cat in and it was said the cat need to be opened up and then the contents of the gut pulled out. They showed me the X-Rays and it did look a little strange. On the advice from a vet tech, on the same visit, I was told to put the cat food in a pizza pan and spread the food out so my cat would not gorge itself with food. So, that is what I did before I had to take my cat in for the surgery. So, for 4 days my not had not spit up anything and was fine. I canceled the surgery and my cat is still fine months later. The scary part is, if a vet after seeing an X Ray cannot actually diagnose an issue, then how in the world are they a vet. To top it off, out of no where they wanted to start charging me a fee to take my used needles (I give my dogs adequan). Of course the fee was minimal, $7.00 I think. My issue with this is, I spend thousands of dollars there on 2 dogs and 1 cat. Now you want to nickle and dime me. Plus, tell me my cat needs some crazy surgery!! I will probably start going to GA State clinic.
Hands down, no comparison best vet office we have ever been to. We bring our two dogs here and we absolutely love everyone. Dr. Landau is great with both of our dogs and is very compassionate! I would highly recommend this place!
