I had to spend 30-45 minutes filling out paperwork online before I went in. This was the most dismal experience of trying to get into an appointment that I have ever experienced. After spending more than a half an hour filling out all the paperwork, I got to the reception desk where they didn't even really speak to me so much is just point to a kiosk. So, again, I had to continue using a computer instead of having one of their paid receptionist do the job they are paid to do it almost every other doctors office I have ever visited. I'm glad they don't bill it out separately to the insurance company as an administrative fee because it would most certainly be contested as nothing was done to administrate my visit at all other than to just point me to computers and computer screens. After I got into the room with my son, the nice medical assistant, who is very kind, asked me all the same questions that I had filled out online for 45 minutes before coming in. She even stated herself that it is sometimes easier just to come in and give that information once you're in the office. This absolutely passes the burden to the customer who is paying the bill to be there. This is bad business. This procedure should be reevaluated. The appointment was late and my son had to stay out of school for the entire day even though I scheduled a morning appointment. I'm disappointed in this office and I will not go back. The doctor was smart and intelligent and knowledgeable about the situation. However, I'm not going to wade through the mess of computer paperwork and processes, like the ones administrative assistance are otherwise paid to do, just to get to the doctor who had a cold bedside demeanor. The only way I would go back is if they ditch the kiosks and have a real person talk to me when I come in the door.

We have been coming to Thomas Eye Group for years but this visit will be our last. Over the years, it seems that our wait time gets longer and longer. This visit had us in the office for over two hours. I realize that appointments can get behind throughout the day but that is ridiculous. I was told that our not being in a room in a timely manner was due to a room needing to be sanitized from a previous patient. Oddly enough, we weren't even put in that room and there were lots of other rooms available since there were no other patients there. The office was closing and we were the next to last to check out. Our appointment was at 3pm.... arrived before 3....waited to see a technician for about 15-20 minutes... was with the technician for maybe 15 minutes.... went to another waiting room and waited... finally saw the doctor who was with us for literally less than 5 minutes and then we immediately went to the contact specialist that we were with for maybe 5-7 minutes, then to the checkout.

I do want to give a thank you to the contact lens specialist - she is always extremely nice and patient with my son.

Long wait times on the phone and at the appointment. For instance, I've spent over an hour on hold to ask a billing question. It is infuriating to hear "We know how valuable your time is" 60 times by a machine, when it is blatantly obvious that they could care less. During my last appointment, my family and I waited for three hours to be seen, and then waited another hour in the patient room. These people have the resources to improve service, but the profit motive is too strong for them to do so.

My husband and I visit a different eye doctor and I will be getting my kids appointments there from now on.

The doctors are nice, however, the wait times are awful. We on average are at our appointments for 3 hours each time. The last appointment, I waited 45 minutes with a 2 year old before we were even seen. Prices are high. I wish I could give a better review, because the location is perfect for us.

Very Enjoyable. Great facility, well trained staff. Dr. Berman cares about a Patient.

My time is extremely valuable and I will not spend it waiting for over two hours on an appointment that shouldn't take an hour (start to finish with waiting).
