We have lived here for over 5 years, and call it home. It is safe, close to everything, in a beautiful wooded setting large, beautiful interiors, a new workout studio, pool and dog park. Our manager and staff are wonderful! they have a job to do and tenants to keep happy, which they do to the best of their ability depending on the tenants. If there is a problem they are responsive and don't ignore the issues. The friendly, knowledgeable maintenance staff has been onsite for many years and are quick to respond. The Park is a wonderful community made up of people from all walks of life. Some tenants keep the complex and their areas clean, and others don't, but it doesn't reflect on the quality of the complex or, what they offer, yet, it is a reflection of particular tenants and their values. (As is with any other community, housing subdivision etc.) A greater majority of tenants care about The Park which is why they call it home, not just interim housing.

I lived here twice and then my mom also moved in because of how much I loved living there! You could not ask for a better community or staff. They were always pleasant and on top of everything especially the manager. She always went above and beyond. Unfortunately, reading some of the reviews, it's clear some people should be in a home and not an apartment. For an apartment community, this was as close to perfection as you get. I would still be there if I would not have purchased a home...and even in a home I see a bug or two. It's part of living in Georgia

If you want to pay top dollar to live under a dictatorship this is definitely the place for you. Management constantly makes up rules and posts them weekly on the resident's door and sends threatening emails to their residents. Most recently they banned all alcohol from the pool and make any pool guests check into the office to get a wristband when visiting the pool. If you do not return this plastic wristband they will fine you. Come winter you will be locked out of the pool area. The pool area is only open during the summer months and only after the pool has passed inspection. Otherwise, you are not allowed to even enter that area to lay out or use the grills until June. There are just about monthly inspections with people coming into your apartment and not even looking at what the inspection is for. It gets even better when you move out of here. On move out day Management will try not to even do a walk through with you unless you insist. Once they do the walk through they'll tell you everything looks fine. One month later you'll receive a bill in the mail from a collections agency for unspecified damages. More thankful than ever to have bought a house and be out of this place!

We lived there for 13 months and I was thankful that we were able to get an apartment on such short notice after our other plans fell through. The experience started out pretty good. Maintenance is very responsive and fast in resolving problems. Management is not to bad compared to other places. The main reason for the 2 star review is the MOLD and ROACH problem. They blame it on living in the South. I've lived in the south most my life without these problems. The problem is these problems are not being fixed to resolution. They are being bandaided here and there but not fixing the problem. The contractors they use are not being truthful to them and they believe them because the cost is low. If they would get better pest control and a good mold remediation company, these issues could be resolved quickly. However, you can tell they are not managed locally and the company that owns this property just plainly and simply doesn't care about the residents. All they care about is the money you pay them and how to squeeze as much as possible without investing in the property. I do not recommend until more effort is made by the company to make it a nice place.

UPDATE: yes interior renovatios were nice, fitness center renovations were nice, clubhouse looked nice and the pool again was nice. But, this is all lipstick and rouge on the problems behind the walls. Just because you update the interior of an apartment doesn't mean you've done anything about the MOLD and ROACHES. Again lovely upgrades to the apartments but it's what's behind the walls that is the problem.

It's a decent place while you're living there - we were on the top floor and the renovations were nice. However, when we addressed clear problems, they were less than helpful. The doors do not have a seal around them, so cracks around the door let out the air which is a clear problem with utilities costs during the summer and winter - of which I was told "that's just what doors do". The maintenance team is awesome - very kind and willing. That being said, the management team is short, rude, unwilling to communicate (this includes issues to the maintenance team), and do not value hearing from renters. It's a root issue with BH Management - greedy and lying to get as much money as possible.
