I don't know how you review a liquor store, but here goes. I usually run into a tiny shop next to our Kroger but they just don't have much of a selection so I tried this Bullocks. I wanted to change away from glass bottles since they are no longer recycled by our trash company. I wanted to get wine and cider in something other than glass. One guy on the staff brought me around and showed me all of my options. If you want a huge selection this is a great place to go.
There's a young blonde lady that works the front counter that has an extremely nasty attitude. I was there 2 days ago and she was behind the register on her IPhone. When I placed my merchandise on the counter she said, "Don't mind me" and threw her phone and purse under the counter like a spoiled child. I let it go. Today, she was turned around not facing the counter. I placed my merchandise on the counter and asked if she was open. She said, "No, I'm just standing here for my health". She has no right nor any invitation to speak to loyal customers with such a bad attitude. I will no longer shop here.
Bullocks is by far the best price for anything they carry! I often drive a little out of my way just because I know I'll get good service from employees who can recommend what is popular when I don't have a clue and from employees that know more about beer and wine than I do. I've never been disappointed by any recommendation.
This is my preferred store to buy beer and liquor from. Local selection is vast, seasonals are abundant, and the prices are reasonable. I've never had a bad experience at Bullocks!
Sarah has been a gem in helpfulness and suggestions. I'm not sure why a "man" would comment that she wasn't helpful or "snapped" at him as she is priceless. If you want to know men that are rude and feeling superior, let me know. I'd be happy to let you know. However, Sarah is priceless and is you listen to the last review, it's a mistake
