My husband and I began our search for a church after moving to Woodstock about 4 years ago. We thought we'd have to visit a dozen, but after visiting this place once, we knew we were home. The connections pastor immediately made us feel welcomed! And after the service, the pastor and his wife introduced themselves in the parking lot and just chatted with us. Now I call these people family. And the sermons are awesome! They are full of scripture but delivered with compassion. I've never once felt condemned, but so encouraged and challenged to keep chasing after God.
It's hard to put into words how awesome Momentum is. If you are looking for a church that preaches God's word, loves like Jesus does, and makes you feel welcome on your first Sunday and every week after that, this is the church for you. The people there are from all walks of life and are all there to worship God and learn more about his love. It has tons of opertunies to serve and join small groups that contain amazing people. It didn't take long for me to call Momentum home.
I came with my mom one time and loved it. The pastor offender her with something he said, but I can really relate to him. Especially how I grew up in the church. Will be going back. She never went back but great church. Look forward to next service. Come as are. That's it.
I went after looking online for a church. The Lord could not have sent me to a better place. Praise and Worship was great. The Connections Pastor who spoke was used by the Lord to speak to me about something specific to me. My husband and I will be back.
My wife and I have been attending Momentum for almost 4 years now. When we started our married life in Woodstock, we wanted to find a place we could serve, that was serious about relationships, and serious about the community and loving those around them. We found all of those things at Momentum. Fast forward to now and we have built friendships that will last the rest of our lives.
