There's always some type of drama at the front desk and scheduling problems seem to be common. Once you get all that sorted out, the actual massage staff is pretty great. I recommend it based off them alone...after all, that is the whole reason why you go to a place like Massage Envy, right?
The massage team is fair with the exception of Charlene. I had a long running relationship with Charlene where she knew me and what my needs were. However, the front desk of this location is a mess. It is run unprofessional. The last straw was with me calling and changing my appointment but then it not actually getting changed. The manager took less than a minutes to tell the young lady on the phone that I would be charged anyway but then when I asked to speak with her, took 15 minutes to come to the phone and actually address me directly and hear the facts. The front desk staff is clearly untrained and poorly managed. From other reviews, I clearly see that this a problem that goes beyond my specific issues. Too bad for the good people like Charlene who work here. I canceled my membership.
The front desk is a mess, as someone else noted. For me they scheduled an appt with someone that wasn't even working that day then had to reschedule and when they did they put the appt on the wrong day - they did comp that day but since it was my first appt it was a $50 comp but then I had to pay the full price next time.. You pay for an hour but actually only get 50 minutes (per the front desk) minus the time to undress, and if you are late they deduct every minute you are late. The last massage I got was about 30-40 minutes and I paid for an hour. Not worth the money. I will use up my gift cards and not go back.
Been a member here for almost 2 years now. Love this place. Charlene is my favorite therapist.
My skin aesthetician is amazing! Her name is Debbie. She makes me feel beautiful and relaxed. You get so much more than a facial from the experience. She puts your needs first and when you leave, you feel so beautiful. I was actually going to cancel my membership and after my experience with Debbie i renewed for another year. My skin looks great too! She is extremely knowledgeable about the products as well and individualizes the treatment just for you.
