Went the Saturday Oct 28th for birthday dinner for my wife, they brought entire tables order out and my wife's food was not prepared correctly so we sent it back. After everyone else had finished eating still no entree had been brought back to the table. After reaching out to the manager his attitude was less than inviting the only thing he could offer was to take it off the bill, again still no entree. Than after we ask for the check the waiter who was not very customer oriented brought the entree out in a togo box and said you can enjoy this at home. No thank you, after several really great visits I have to say will not be returning to Century House Tavern unless the staff changes.
We had reservations for 4 at 8PM Oct. 21, Friday night in the inside dining room to the far left close to the door that exits to the porch dining area and from there exits to the outdoor dining area. We have dined outside before with a fabulous experience. Our first time dining inside, we loved the atmosphere and the seating. We had appetizers, salads ,entrees and adult cocktails! The food and beverages were outstanding. The service however declined once we received our entrees. We totally lost our waitress. It seems that she had many customers to tend to on either the porch or out side, she did apologize by letting us know that her outside table just kept her busy chatting with her. OK, in the mean time , we had to summon 2 other servers or busboys, to take care of our table. That is our complaint. I hope the owner reviews this post as we definitely will Not consider this as our consistently "good service go-to" restaurant in Woodstock. It is a pricey place which we do not mind but the service needs to stand up to its reputation. Sad Face
Probably one of the top 5 best burgers in the Atlanta metro area. Could use a bigger beer list, though. Great place for a date.
They take reservations now, and it's hard to find a seat for 4 if you don't make one.
You cant go wrong here. The food and service has always been consistently great. I always get the chicken fried chicken with their homemade mash potatoes and collard greens.
Food was really good, however we waited for an hour for our food. Considering it was during the week and not busy, I was shocked. Willing to go again as maybe our waiter was having an “off” night.
